We have exciting news to share - the Shoreline Sharks all-girls youth hockey program is partnering with the Wonderland Wizards to provide all-girls’ team options (U12-U16) for families who are interested in playing exclusively on an all-girls’ team or dual-rostering with an all-girls’ program. For the 2024-25 season, we anticipate two Sharks Connecticut Girls Hockey League (CGHL) teams being based at Wonderland, led by coaches Bill Garfield and Matt Sather.

For younger girls who have been playing on co-ed teams, this opportunity allows you to become familiar with the Sharks organization (a locally based all-girls program) in anticipation that you may eventually move to an all-girls’ team at the bantam/U14 age group. It would also allow you to continue playing with the friends and families that you have made in co-ed hockey if you choose to dual-roster. For those that are interested, it unlocks access to higher levels of girls’ hockey play in future seasons with a program that has been dedicated to girls’ hockey since its founding more than 20 years ago. The Shoreline Sharks have teams playing at all competitive levels, up to national championship-bound Tier II teams.

We are excited about working together to give girls even more opportunities to play hockey at Wonderland.

Please note this will take you to the shark’s registration page but the tryouts, practices and home games will be played at Wonderland.
