The coaching selection committee will select coaches at all levels based on the following criteria:

1.Coaches must fill out an application and apply for positions that are open.

2.Coaches must be certified by USA Hockey for the level desired.

3.Potential coaches will be interviewed by the selection committee.

4.Evaluations from previous year will be reviewed.

5.Background checks will be performed on all applicants.

6.Once selected, coaches must adhere to coacing policies and practices as outlined by CHC and USA Hockey guidelines such as Code of Conduct, etc.

7.The head coach must know how to skate.

8.All coaches must have knowledge of the game of hockey.

9.Each coach must be capable of running practices and managing games at the level desired.

10.A coach must possess the skills suitable for dealing with children.
